SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENT BY DEVELOPING STUDENT’S INTEGRITY AND INTELLECTUAL IN MATHEMATIC AND NATURAL SCIENCE FACULTY HALU OLEO UNIVERSITY

            To the honorable dekan of FMIPA UHO, lectures of MIPA UHO, adjudicators, ladies and gentlemen.
            First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the God so I am able to present this speech as part of Dekan Cup 2014. I would also like to thank you for the audiences who have given me opportunity to speak on this pulpit.
Ladies and gentlemen
Era in our opinion refers to agent of period, development is continually done by some countries in the world and science technology becomes the most important thing at this moment because it can make us become more practical and easier in doing our activities every day. We can’t deny that the advancement of technology nowadays as a part of previous scientists’ works. Those scientists attend in the centre of dynamics progress of science technology; they develop the concept of idea, and then applied by the further scientists. By now, there are many colleges develop a program of quality advancement of science technology. The targets focus on knowledge advancement and community care. It will be based on preparing human resources towards dynamic and fast global era.
Mathematic and Natural Science faculty is one of faculty which exists in Halu Oleo University. Some facilities are available to support the academic activity such as laboratory, library, and internet network. Since 1998, this faculty has given its central role in science and technology advancement. We have noticed that this faculty is the one faculty which based on science, especially in South East Sulawesi.
            Student in mathematics and natural sciences faculty is change agent, science and technological developer, so that the trust  of science and technology advancement is on our hand. If you think about the  future science and technology, the answer will be on our  hand. Now, science and technology advancement is simply and urgent combined with the students’ integrity and intellectual, why? Because the essence of advancement is a development on civilization advancement.  There’s nothing civilization without IPTEK and the civilization would not been created without integrity and intellectual values.
Students’ Integrity and intellectual advancement has to be majored as the basic in science and technology advancement. Forming students’ character who is responsible, honest, considerate and also believe to the God. Those need to form human civilization balance. Students  in Mathematics and Natural Sciences faculty become guide for  science and technology advancement in Indonesia.
Dear all audience
            All friends to realize ideal ideas above, what should we do? Is that enough by obtaining high grade point average (GPA) or have short study period? We must return at natural basic of our philosophical civilization that science and technology advancement have have to come with both characters. So the ideas will come true and hopes all can be implemented as follow:
The First, Makes the education based on value play more important role in science agents interaction so we need honesty, high social feelings, association, intelligent, and other good characters not only major in entirely theory. We don’t need to be as genius as Enstein, as wise as a teacher and face the social phenomenon.
Second,We are as change agents have to give a contribution on science and technology benefits for the society, therefore science are not only becomes product of civilization advancement. We also need to explore natural science towards nation prosperity. There are still many ideas and I am sure we are able to give contributions or benefits for our civilization.
Ladies and gentlemen
            Nowdays there are many mathematic and natural science students’ works have been published in South East Sulawesi and we will be still writing new ideas in the future. We are part of civilization advancement and let’s develop it by combining integrity and intellectual to create a better student’s independency. And we are Unhalu students try to give proves for this nation. Wish God always guide us towards more independent and quality improvement of UHO. 
            Finally, I realize all of ideas limit by the time, so I would like to say thank you for your participation guys. If there was mistake, I do apologize and at the end walkumsalam warahmatulahiwabarakatu. Good afternoon.

I.   PENDAHULUAN A.   Latar Belakang        Secara garis besar organisme lautan terbagi atas tiga golongan yaitu bentos , nekton , dan plakton. Bentos adalah organisme yang mendiami dasar perairan.
